Meet the Cast of HAIRSPRAY!

Bryanna (Lorraine) is a dance teacher and choreographer at Allegro Dance and Fitness.
Bryanna has been dancing for 14 years. She has performed in several shows in the Shoals area including 9 to 5, Tuck Everlasting, Sister Act, Cabaret, and Something Rotten.

Meet the Cast of HAIRSPRAY!

Ashton Gillyard (Thad) is a Florence, Alabama native and Masters student at The University of North Alabama pursuing a MFA in History.
His recent performance credits include Ernst in Spring Awakening, Dater #11 in Speed Dating Tonight(UNA) as well as Ensemble in Something Rotten(SummerStock at the Ritz).
In the past Ashton has done work in various music programs at UNA such as its Collegiate Singers ensemble

Meet the Cast of HAIRSPRAY!

Antonio Santamaria (Stooie) is beyond excited to be part of Hairspray!
When he's not on stage, he's probably singing somewhere he shouldn't be, quoting musicals that nobody asked for, or convincing himself he can hit that one high note.
Previous credits include Sebastian in The Little Mermaid, the Steward in Into the Woods, Plankton in The SpongeBob Musical, Liver Lips Louie in Guys and Dolls, The Emperor in Mulan, Maui in Moana, and productions of Shrek, Frozen, Sweeney Todd, and Benny in Rent.
Antonio recently earned his Associate Degree in Drafting & Design Technology and is excited to continue chasing opportunities in musical theatre.

He hopes you enjoy the show as much as the cast enjoyed bringing it to life and remember, if you catch him dancing, no you didn't.

Meet the Cast of HAIRSPRAY!

Lynlee Miles is from Tuscumbia, AL. She is entering the third grade at McBride Elementary and has always loved singing, dancing, and performing for others.
She recently was in a local production of Elf Jr. and Charlotte's Web.
Her other interests include playing softball, basketball, and participating on a competitive cheerleading team.
She is so excited to be included in this awesome show!!

Dewan Garner (Gilbert) (He/Him) is a graduate of The University of North Alabama's Entertainment
Industry program with a focus on Technology.
His recent performance credits include Don in A Chorus Line, and Mr Duvall in Mean Girls (The Ritz Theatre).
Dewan was also a member of The Marching Pride at UNA and helped run sound at local shows here in Florence

Meet the Cast of HAIRSPRAY!

Marianna Light (Lou Ann/ Dance Captain) is a graduate of the University of North Alabama, where she earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work while performing as a four-year member of the UNA Dance Team.
She brings over 27 years of dance experience, including 10 years as an instructor and 7 years as a Performing Arts Team teacher/choreographer at Allegro Dance & Fitness.
Her choreography credits include White Christmas, Mary Poppins, Hello, Dolly!, and High School Musical Jr., all produced by Central High School, earning multiple choreography awards and two Stanley Award nominations.
This is Marianna's first show performing with Tennessee Valley Arts Association at the Ritz Theatre and is so excited for the opportunity!

Meet the Cast of HAIRSPRAY!

Ryleigh Ragan has enjoyed growing as a performer through a variety of productions, including ensemble roles in Tuck Everlasting, Bright Star, and Footloose, and is currently as IQ in Hairspray.
She served as dance captain for W***y Wonka, strengthening her leadership and collaboration skills, and recently took on her first lead role as Jason in Falsettos. Most recently, she expanded her experience behind the scenes as co-choreographer for Little Shop of Horrors.
Grateful for every opportunity, Ryleigh is excited to continue learning, growing, and sharing her love of musical theater both on and off the stage.

Erin Wittscheck (Shelley/Ensemble) is from Florence, AL, and she works at the University of North Alabama as an advisor in the School of the Arts.
She is excited to be getting more involved in community theatre, and being in Hairspray is teenage Erin's dream!
Past roles include: dancer in Season's of Change (The Ritz Theatre) and ensemble in Rock of Ages (Cypress Moon Studios).
