Tricia Marton is the biggest driving force behind YMS' success every year! Not only does she handle coordination of volunteers and organize advertising and printed materials, but she also communicates with teachers, sponsors, etc. She takes care of all the behind-the-scenes details AND hosts each show on the day of the event! MMTA is grateful for her diligence in making YMS a wonderful event for the community. 🎼🎤

We are a group of local music teachers in the Sheboygan county and surrounding areas. We promote professional fraternity and professional growth, encourage high standards in music instruction, and provide quality performance opportunities for students.

We are a local district organization that is under the umbrella of the National Music Teachers Association and the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association and support their objectives, which are to advance the value of music study & music making to society and to support the professionalism of music teachers.

Funds remaining after expenses get put into the Michibago Music Teachers Association awards fund. One of the most popular student awards is for Summer Music Camp; this award helps families defray the cost of music camp tuition. MMTA gives abut $1,000 annually to Summer Music Camp awards!
