📣Last Call!

I am down to my very last one of these popular Lake Cruise triptych pieces. Each mini print is 4x4", with white mat and black 7x16" frame that can be hung on the wall or displayed as desktop.

"Lake Cruise" was created to pay homage to the significance of the Sheboygan lake circuit, featuring a bench on the 3rd St bluff, the view from the top of the Broughton Drive hill, and the lakefront as you approach Deland Park. The original series was features at JMKAC in 2025 as part of their "And I Will Tell You Mine" exhibition.

Hi guys! I haven't been creating too much the past couple months, choosing to soak in all the outside time I can this summer, but I will be back in my makeshift studio (aka dining room 😅) soon. I have so many ideas I can't wait to bring to life!

I plan to submit two more pieces to Sheboygan Senior Community for their upcoming exhibition. The new theme is "Inspired by Nature" and I can't decide which pieces to share. I'd love your input, simply by giving a heart or thumbs up on your favorite two of these. Thanks in advance for helping me make up my mind🫶

I need some input...my past workshops have been themed (pets, Lake Michigan, people) where attendees brought their own inspo pic, but in all of them I noticed that people often either ran out of time or felt "stuck" at times during the process.

I am thinking of offering a couple more guided workshops this fall where I have a sample piece displayed then walk everyone through how to recreate that particular piece (think like the sip & paint style classes). My thought is that this may help people get more comfortable with the process of torn paper art in a way thats a little less intimidating. I'd either choose the piece and schedule the workshop for those who like that one to sign up for OR if a group of friends wants to get together, they can select which sample piece their group wants to recreate.

Thoughts?

I have lived in my home for 17 years and have always seen cardinals every now and then in the backyard. I always imagined it was my grandpa coming to check on how things are going with the hosta garden he helped us plant.

In recent months, however, I have seen a cardinal nearly every day. Sometimes in the backyard. Sometimes the front. Sometimes while I am out and about. There have been less than 5 days in the past two months that I haven't seen one.

I made this piece as a reminder that even when we lose people we care about, they are never truly gone. They walk with us through every memory, every tear, every challenging chapter, and every celebration.

We can see them in the cardinal or in the hostas growing larger by the year.

We see them in the reminders we give ourselves when at the gym to correct our form or give ourselves grace.

We see them in the faces of others or the melodies of songs or even in the stillness of the night.

This piece, called "I Never Left" is a reminder to pause when you miss them most and be intentional about not only acknowledging all the ways they are gone, but also all the ways they are still walking right beside you, even when you feel the most alone.❤️
