Sheboygan Symphony Chorus The Sheboygan Symphony Chorus was established in 1994. The mission of this group is dedicated to performing large scale works with the SSO.

During the summer of 1994 Janet L. Herrick, Director Emeritus, who was a Professor of Music at Lakeland College at the time, formed a chorus that would perform with the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra. Respected local music educator Frank Berger was selected as Assistant Conductor and Accompanist. Auditions were held, and the Sheboygan Symphony chorus was born, comprised of local talent that represen

ted a diverse cross-section of Sheboygan and the surrounding communities. The Sheboygan Symphony Chorus is directed by Wilhelmina Nelmes Vogtel.

The Sheboygan Symphony Chorus is excited for this opportunity to sing with Bel Canto Chorus and Kettle Moraine Symphony and several high schools.
