Meet the stars of Give My Regards to Broadway: A 4th of July Cabaret! 🫡 🇺🇸

This powerhouse group of performers is ready to light up your Independence Day with show-stopping numbers, heartfelt storytelling, and Broadway favorites spanning generations—from Gershwin to Miranda.

🎧 Every scene has a soundtrack, even before the music starts.

Footsteps, room tone, a single note held just a little too long. Sound design bends time, mood, and distance onstage, often before you realize it is happening.

Make Some Noise: An Intro to Sound Design is a hands-on workshop with sound designer and audio engineer Max Pelna that looks at how sound can map out the world of a script. You will explore how to read a script for sound, make intentional audio choices, and use them to support and elevate a story rather than compete with it.

Open to all experience levels.

Our Summer Camps are almost here, and there's still time to sign up! ☀️ 🎶

With just a few weeks until we begin, spots remain available for all three themed weeks. From fantasy adventures to high-energy performance, each camp invites young performers to create, move, and build confidence together.

LOCATION: Horace Mann Middle School Campus
AGES: Students entering K–1, 2–4, or 5–8

DATES:
- June 15–18
- June 22–25
- June 29–July 2

SCHEDULE: Monday–Thursday mornings

TUITION: $75 residents | $112.50 non-residents

What a night. 🤘

Thank you to everyone who came out for STC Karaoke Idol Night w/ Jax Karaoke and made it something truly special. Because of you, we raised $1,500 in support of STC.

From powerhouse vocals to unexpected performances and everything in between, it was a night full of laughter, talent, and community. 💙

A huge thank you to:
- Jax Karaoke, and hosts Jaclyn and Joshua, for keeping the energy high all night
- The Thirsty Seagull for being such a great partner and space
- Our judges, Tay Tay, Lynn, and Larry for bringing the fun and celebrating each performer
- Our raffle basket donors for adding even more excitement to the evening
- Our volunteers who helped everything run smoothly
- And every single person who showed up, sang, and cheered others on

We’re casting Give My Regards to Broadway: A 4th of July Cabaret and looking for singers and performers of all ages and experience levels to join a patriotic, Broadway-filled evening. 🎆 🎶

Audition Date & Time
- Wednesday, June 3
- 5:00–8:00 PM

Location
- Leslie W. Johnson Theatre (Horace Mann Middle School campus)

What to Prepare
- 16–32 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show
(classic or contemporary Broadway, patriotic, or other works by U.S.-based composers)

*All who submit for the show will be cast.*

Today, we pause to remember those who are gone because they gave their lives.

The moments we share together, in our community and in our theatre, are part of what their lives made possible.

We remember them in the way we show up for one another as a community, on and off the stage, and we carry that memory into every story we bring to the stage.

Season 92 has come to a close, and we're taking a moment to look back with a full heart.

From the laughter of Young Frankenstein to the strength of Steel Magnolias, the chaos of The Play That Goes Wrong, and the joy of Mamma Mia, this season was brought to life by so many incredible people.

To our casts, production teams, volunteers, sponsors, donors, community partners, and patrons, thank you. Your support is what brings these stories to the stage and beyond. ❤️

We are especially grateful to Dennis Leffin and his family for their generous gift in memory of his wife, Kathy Diane Siminow, a cherished friend and supporter of STC and the broader theatre community. Her impact will continue to inspire our work.
