AUDITIONS FOR A TUNA CHRISTMAS
Sunday, Oct. 11th, 3pm - 5pm
Monday, Oct. 12th, 6:00 - 8:00pm

CALLBACKS
Tuesday, Oct. 13th, 6:30 - 8:30pm

Actors will be asked to read from the script. For those who want them, audition sides will be available for
pick-up at Theater Bartlesville, Thurs., Fri., Sat., Oct. 1st - 3rd, 5 - 7pm.

Rehearsals will begin Monday, Nov. 2nd, and the show will run December 17th - 20th.

It’s a busy time of year. Please don’t audition if you plan to be out of town a lot in November/December.

A Tuna Christmas is a comedy set in the fictional town of Tuna, Texas. The plot centers on the town's annual Christmas Yard Display Contest. A mysterious "Christmas Phantom," known for vandalizing the yard displays, has the contestants and the town on edge.

Stanley Bumiller is attempting to end his probation and leave Tuna, Bertha Bumiller is struggling to hold her family together, and Joe Bob Lipsey is fighting to mount his production of A Christmas Carol despite the town secretary threatening to turn the lights off due to unpaid bills.

The play is an affectionate commentary and hilarious satire of small-town life and attitudes. Each character must have a heart, soul, and mind (even though some may be larger than others).

Please go for a Texas accent.
