Global Excursions was born in 1988 as the tag to a radio show I was doing in Kansas City. As all the other DJ's and radio stations were playing mindless music strictly focused on repetitive BPM's and cliche sounds and hooks, D.Original was on a mission ignoring the masses and realizing that there has to be music that really sounds good...had a solid message..and was really funky. My radio show was groundbreaking...Dope, different...silly..rough, but really dope. Fast forward (has it really been 30 years?) and the passion for searching for that ultimate sound has been constant...Really there was not a more complete digger than me. I am the Master music collector. What separates me from the other top dj's and collectors is I am a specialist in all relevant genres.
