Yesterday was a day of hiking Mount Galehead in NH for my 24/48 4,000 footers. I’m half way there!

Here are a few of my favorite pictures, even before arriving at the trailhead. The sunrise was spectacular along with the fall foliage. It’s peak.

Captured another 4,000 footer in NH today. This time it was Mount Waumbek. 7.2 miles out and back. 23/48.

No view at the summit except a pile of rocks.

Lunch was at the ledge with the only view, but it was of the Presidential Range. You can see the antennas on the summit if you zoom in. Down in the valley and in the distance is the storm approaching. Made it back to the car before the rain.

Detour on the way home to Super Secret Ice Cream Shop again. Double scoop of Origin Chocolate. The best ice cream I’ve ever had.
