This week my kitchen was filled with flowers sent by people who did not know my stepfather David. I feel grateful to be part of this community where my family is so supported. Part of why I love baking bread for you is because it provides such simple sustenance. Water, flower, salt and yeast. Few ingredients, but mixed together with plenty of time, you get something amazing. When I can share my bread with you, I feel even more a part of the community I love. Thank you.

First time making this cranberry walnut loaf! Much higher hydration dough keeps the crumb light with all the add ins. Whole wheat flour and some rye flour added to the white add great flavor too. I’d like it to be a little rounder but it is certainly delicious!
