We were asked to finish this custom "black walnut" counter top.
Blended Dark Walnut stain @75% and ebony@25%. Applied 2 seal coats followed by 8 coats of High Solids Marine Varnish, sanding in between coats with 1000-2000 grit sandpaper. Looks like thick glass.
