From all of us at Outagamie County Fair, we send our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Jean Timm and their family .

Today, the Seymour Rural Fire Department is mourning the loss of one of our own. Al Timm, a firefighter for the past 37 years and EMR/ first responder for over 20 years, passed away early this morning after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.

Al joined the Town of Osborn fire department in 1989. He served as the fire chief for Osborn from 1999 to 2018 . When the Town of Seymour and Town of Osborn fire departments merged in 2018, Al stepped down as chief but continued to serve as a firefighter for Seymour Rural FD. He was also one of the charter members of the Town of Osborn first responders founded in 2003. He was a mentor and a good friend, and one of a kind, and always willing to lend a hand and share his knowledge with others.

Al, you will forever be a Seymour Rural firefighter. We will never forget your contributions to our department and will forever be missed.

To Jean and family, we send our deepest condolences. You will all forever be part of the Seymour Rural Fire family.
