Downtown Window Decorating Contest
● FIRST PLACE- $100.00
● SECOND PLACE- $75.00
● THIRD PLACE- $50.00
Judging will take place on Thursday the 1st at 3:00 PM., and the winners will be announced at the open ceremonies at the Kidz Korner on Thursday at 5:30 PM.
If you would like to participate, please send an email with your name, business name and contact information to Stephanie Strothmann at [email protected]. You must send your information in order for your business to be considered for the contest.

The Trinity Lutheran Art Club will offer to paint the windows of up to 10 downtown businesses for the contest on Sunday, September 20 (rain date is Sunday, September 27).

This is a fundraiser for the art club, so the club will ask for a donation to their program in an amount that your business chooses.

🎨✨ YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR NIGHT IS COMING TO SEYMOUR OKTOBERFEST! ✨🎨
Calling all young creators, makers, and entrepreneurs!

We invite any child from K–12th Grade to show off and sell their handmade crafts, artwork, jewelry, and original creations! This is a fun opportunity for kids to put their creativity to work, learn about selling their products, and experience what it’s like to be a young entrepreneur. 💪🏼✨

📍 Kidz Korner — right next to City Hall
📅 Friday, October 2nd
🛍️ Sale: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
⏰ Setup: 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM
🚨 A few important details:
• Open to K–12th Grade
• No food or baked goods may be sold
• Parent/guardian must be present with their child for the entire event, including setup — no exceptions
• Each child is responsible for their own products, pricing, money, and sales.
*must provide all necessary set up materials: table, chair if they want a seat, ect.

Let’s give our young entrepreneurs a chance to show off their hard work, creativity, and big ideas! ❤️

Please ensure you get them uploaded to our website and not sending via email. If you are requesting your insurance agent to send, please ensure they are aware of the process to upload on our website, as it is quick and easy! Due date 9/17/26.

We are on the countdown! The registration deadline for the parade is 9/1/26. There are two separate forms, one to register for the parade and the other for nominating a Parade Marshal.

Please ensure your club, church, civic group have registered so they are in before the deadline!

Few reminders:
• Vendor rules for both Arts & Crafts and Food & Activities can be found on our website.
• Craft vendors: You will need a certificate of insurance this year. If you need more information, please reach out to Crafts Committee.
• All vendors must apply annually, even if you were a vendor last year!
• Invoices for booth spaces will be sent soon. Payment for that invoice is due three weeks after it was sent or will move on to the next vendor.
