Happy Birthday Air Force. Our post is named after Robert R Taylor, an Army Air Core veteran who flew 50 missions as a tail gunner in World War 2! His plane was shot down and he continued to fly 25 missions after.

Speaking of getting shot down. Today is POW/MIA recognition day. Take a moment to remember all of our veterans who were prisoners and or never made it home.

For nearly eight decades, America’s airmen have answered the call with courage, innovation and an unwavering commitment to service. We proudly salute all airmen, past and present. Happy 79th birthday, United States Air Force! 🇺🇸 ✈️ 🫡
