Dolly Playlist Update

This is the song list that I have so far that consists of songs requested by you and a few that I found myself. I currently only have 45 and need 75 so if you can think of any more that I dont have then please leave a comment below.

Also all the songs with a check mark are ones that I already own so all those without check marks, I have to buy. I have had 1 donation of $25 to go towards the list which I'm truly greatful for and if anyone else wants to donate then it'll help speed the process along.

My plan is to release this playlist at a special show on Friday 9/25 (9 to 2) aka Dolly Day 💓🦋 details will be released closer to date!

Today!!!!

Todays the day!! Whoohoo!!

Saturday August 29th

- Across the highway from the First Baptist Church up from food city.

This event is just like every event that I have ever hosted so its:

1. Potluck style - bring a covered dish to share.. also bring your own specific beverage (no alcohol please). All utensils and plates/napkins/ cups will be provided by us.

2. We eat at 5pm and festivities start at 6pm. Since we are celebrating our union then that is the theme of this event.. we will have first dances, followed by "cutting of the cake", then a special game of Singo, then lastly we will have an hour or two of dance music.

We cant wait to see yall!!!

** Dolly Singo **

So I've seen alot of businesses and even entertainment that is either making a profit off of sales of items or entertainment themed around Dolly.. and I've seen alot that are donating either 100% profits or a portion of proceeds to the Imagination Library..

I would not feel right making a Dolly specific Singo playlist and using her name to make a profit.

I've had several reach out to me about making a playlist of just Dolly and I have thought long and hard about it.

I will make a Dolly specific playlist ONLY if 100% of my tips from that show go to her many causes. I know that the family specifically requested The Imagination Library so I will honor those wishes.

It takes alot of funds and time to make a Singo playlist and to be honest, I'm struggling like any other person right now and I can't afford the entire cost to make a Dolly playlist. It costs $150 to make a single playlist because I purchase each song (which means that Dolly gets her fair share with music rights) and its a long process of uploading and editing each song (75 songs to be exact).

So if you feel it in your heart to help speed along the process and want to help with the cost then that would be awesome.. I have venmo, cashapp, PayPal, and accept any major credit/debit card in person as well as cash.. just make sure you let me know that it goes specifically to the Dolly playlist.

Also I need help with songs... I know she has written over 3k songs but I need 75 specific hits that were loved and cherished by you... this playlist is for you!!!! So if you can help me out by listing some of your favorite Dolly hits in the comments then you can help me build the perfect Dolly Singo Playlist 💓

Today we went and paid our respects the only true way we knew how... being in a place that brought her and many many others great joy.

There was a memorial wall set up just past security for those who wanted to leave flowers or cards... and there was a special mural set up for picture opportunities.

I got to see many of my front gate friends and got lots of hugs... I know it has been a hard day for them so being there to support them was the least that I could do.

We stopped and got some cinnamon bread to make a toast in Dolly's honor.. and went shopping in the emporium for a new Dolly shirt to wear tonight at Singo (zach got a matching hoodie).

I knew I needed to be there today.. it was just a must do thing and I'm so beyond grateful for zach taking me and making those memories.

8/25 Family Game Night at Redbud Deli in Morristown!!

What an amazing night... packed house full of laughter, hugs, and tears... such a joyous evening 💓

We had a moment for Dolly before we began.. I was joined tonight by my Dollywood family which made it so much more special.. mourning the loss of Dolly with people who loved her as much as I did... I am so grateful for my Dollywood family 💓

I cant thank you all enough for coming out and making tonight so special.. I truly appreciate your support.

Rest in Peace, Sweet Dolly 💓

Dolly has been a part of my life since I was born.. so for a whole 40 years she has been a major part of my life.

As a child, my mom worked in a boutique in Dollywood and my Aunt worked at the Grist Mill. So as you can imagine, Dollywood was my playground. I would go to work with my mom and literally ride the rides all day long. I remember riding blazing fury 22 times in a row!!

My mom met Dolly on several occasions but I never got to meet her in person.

When I was 17, I got my first job at Dollywood as a games attendant in Country Fair. It was probably my most favorite job that I've ever had.

I have been a season pass holder majority of my life so alot of core memories were made in Dollywood and Splash Country.

Now having a family of my own, we have created so many more wonderful memories at Dollywood. We even traveled to Dolly's Travel Center to check out her new gas station because as she said "we can't leave it all to the beavers" 🤣

Dolly has always been such a kind, giving, and genuine soul. She gave back to the community in so many ways.. helping with the hungry, homeless, victims of natural disasters that hit East TN, and creating the Imagination Library that has been a positive influence on so many lives.

We all may be grieving right now due to this great loss of our Queen Dolly but I know she wouldn't want us to stay sad... grieve but for a moment because joy comes in the morning. She would want us to continue her legacy... living as Dolly would..

I am so happy that she is now with Carl, her momma, her daddy, and her siblings that passed before her.. she is finally able to rest.. and I know that she can rest easy knowing the amazing life she lived, how many lives she impacted, and the wonderful things she leaves behind.

I am so grateful to have lived in a time that Dolly was alive even if I never got to meet her.. she was truly an amazing person.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends, and all the many many people whose lives she touched.

I plan on making many many more trips to Dollywood and celebrating her memory 💓
