SUNDAY, Oct 4 BLOCK KITS SOLD during CENTRAL KANSAS QUILT SHOP HOP. “In our speed to make more block kits available, we are afraid there could have about 8 block kits without purple (grunge grape) piece. Check your kits over and contact the Needle (620.736.2942) if you are missing that fabric. We’ll mail out your missing purple piece.”

LEGENDS OF THE PLAINS is designed and sewn by Cythnia Washburn! Eight Bison panels and blocks from participating shops, combined with gradient colors make this a gorgeous quilt. The Finishing Kit is for a 74” x 79” quilt

CENTRAL KANSAS QUILT SHOP HOP continues through October 10! Eight participating quilt shops each have a different BISON LARGE PANEL. You can pick up this 36” x 42” panel at the NEEDLE.

Spirit of the Plains Hours are Oct 2 & 3 are 9 am – 8 pm, Oct 4 are 11 am – 4 pm, Oct 5-9 are 9:30 am – 5 pm, and Oct 10 are 9 am – 5 pm at the NEEDLE. We look forward to seeing you.

October 1 – 10 is CENTRAL KANSAS QUILT SHOP HOP! Come by the Needle to see three projects designed by Cynthia Washburne. LEGENDS OF THE PRAIRIE is 74”x79”, YANASI LAP QUILT is 60.5”x61.5”, or FLORAL BISON TOTE are best seen in person. Shop Hours Oct 1-3 are 9 am – 8 pm and Oct 4 are 11 am – 4 pm. LITTLE BALKANS QUILT SHOW is TODAY & TOMORROW in Pittsburg, KS. Yes, the NEEDLE will be there! You will see a new array of fabulous quilts which have been finished since last Labor Day.

The Show is located at Memorial Auditorium, 503 N Pine. Open Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 4 pm with a daily admission of $5 per day. Jenna Spencer is the mural artist for Downtown Pittsburg.

NEEDLE’S FRIDAY & SATURDAY hours are 10 am – 5pm. CLOSED LABOR DAY, September 7.

HONORING THE PAST, EMBRACE THE FUTURE is this year’s theme for the 38th Annual Quilt Show. The Show is located at Memorial Auditorium, 503 N Pine. Open Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 4 pm with a daily admission of $5 per day.
