A remote, abandoned military installation has reactivated after decades of silence. Satellite pings reveal a hidden AI-driven surveillance system—“Sentinel Core”—capable of tracking and predicting enemy movement in real time.

A hand-selected group of Spec Ops has been ordered to infiltrate the area and secure the Sentinel Core. But unbeknownst to them, a shadow group known only as “The Revenants“ seeks to obtain the Sentinel Core for themselves.

You asked, we listened, and in 2027 Outdoor Xtreme Seven Points - Formerly Whatz-Up Paintball is turning the throttle ALL the way up.

Ares Rising is coming January 16–17, and we’re starting the new year with a TWO-DAY BYOP event built around something we’ve wanted to do for a long time: create an event truly for the player, by the player.

Over the years, we’ve heard so many incredible ideas from players about missions, game elements, technology and concepts they’ve always wanted to see on the field. Instead of just talking about them, we decided it was time to build an event where we can actually bring those ideas to life.

Ares Rising will combine more styles of play and new concepts than we’ve ever put into one event. Bomb defusals, resource building, Ares Alpha electronics, Magfed-only sections, speedball missions, timed objectives, Young Gun missions, scenario play, new technology, experimental missions and plenty more we haven’t announced yet. Whether you live for missions, Magfed, speedball, electronics, scenario play or just want to sling paint all weekend, there will be something waiting for you.

And we want YOUR ideas too. Have a mission or game concept you’ve always wanted to try? Submit it. If we can make it work, we’ll put it into action and give you the chance to see your idea come to life on the field.

We also know January comes right after the holidays have absolutely murdered everyone’s bank account, so we’re keeping this one BYOP and keeping our paint prices LOW. We want you spending the weekend playing paintball, not recovering financially from buying paint.

A new year deserves something different, and we’re not interested in starting 2027 quietly.

Ares Rising is just the beginning of what we have planned for Outdoor Xtreme Seven Points - Formerly Whatz-Up Paintball in 2027.

Start the year with a bang. You’re going to remember this one.
