The Sergeant Bluff Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of facilities and activities for your enjoyment. These facilities include several community parks, a sports complex with baseball and softball fields, an indoor batting facility, an outdoor municipal pool and the Sergeant Bluff Community Center. Additionally, the City offers many leisure activities through the Recreation Department at the Sergeant Bluff Community Center.

We are teaming up with our friends at the Sergeant Bluff Police Department to host a Badges & Bobbers event at Kiwanis Park on June 27th from 9-11AM!

Join us for a morning of fishing with local law enforcement. Parks and Recreation will have some equipment available for those who don't have their own to borrow for the morning as well as snacks! No registration is necessary.

All Iowa fishing laws will apply, so if you are 16 or older you will need a fishing license! Younger kids are encouraged to have an adult accompany them. If anyone would like to volunteer to help new anglers please contact the Parks and Recreation department at 712-943-5800.
