Sequim’s First Friday Art Walk returns Oct. 2 with an “Autumn Orange” theme and a variety of art, music, food and creative activities at venues throughout downtown Sequim.

During the October 2 First Friday Art Walk Sequim with Autumn Orange Color Theme, Wind Rose Cellars at 143 W Washington St. has live music 6:00 to 8:00 PM with Owl Chrysalis Medicine while you enjoy award winning artfully crafted w**es and appetizing tidbits. Owl shared, “It’s my first show at Wind Rose Cellars!! I can’t wait! Back when I was a traveling busker my favorite places to play was outside w**e bars. The vibes of my music just meld beautifully with w**e. Brunch just outside or around the corner of a tasting room was always the best time and place for me to do my thing. Playing inside a w**e bar like a “real artist” inevitably became a goal of mine ever since. So, I’m incredibly tickled and excited about this. It feels like a huge win for me as an artist. I hope you’ll come help me celebrate this really cool moment in my life.”

SEQUIM — The First Friday Art Walk will celebrate with an orange-themed event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this weekend at various venues in downtown Sequim.

During the October 2 First Friday Art Walk Sequim with Autumn Orange Color Theme, the Sequim Museum & Arts at 544 N Sequim Avenue features the Preview Exhibition for the Fifth Annual Strait from the Artists Studio Tour November 14 and 15, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM where the artists create.

This exhibit is a visual introduction of the Strait from the Artists you can visit from A to Z, the artists include Christine Alexandre-Zeoli, Ross Brown, Lauren Blair Churchill, Trish Cole, Drew Ealey, Monica Gutierrez-Quarto, Michelle Lindblom, Sharman Owings, Pat Reichner, Laurie Riley, Keith Ross, Linda Silvas, David Willis, and Len Zeoli.

During the October 2 First Friday Art Walk Sequim with Autumn Orange Color Theme, the A Milligan Gallery & Art Studio at 520 N. Sequim Ave. welcomes you to the “Transitions” Exhibition. This exhibit continues to evolve with the seasons as we move from sunny bright summer days into the rich earthy colors of fall. Join them for some tasty bites and refreshments, visit with friends and meet the artists as you enjoy the works of two area artists drawn to those in-between places where greens turn to gold, falling leaves obscure pathways, and autumn clouds continually rewrite the sky.

The artists are both representational painters, with the soft airy brushwork of Linda Tilley’s oils joining the intricate touch of Suzan Noyes hand. Come delight in the interpretations of each artist’s expressions of these transitional moments.

Dee Shire’s jewelry collection compliments the exhibit. Inspired by nature, anthropology and paleontology, her necklaces are uniquely special adornments. As always, when you visit the gallery, you’re invited to take a peek into owner Anne Milligan’s pastel studio to see what new works are in progress on her easels.
