Meaningful Movements Dance Company Meaningful Movements is dance instruction for children of all abilities. Instruction includes ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and tumbling.

Meaningful Movements will provide dance instruction in Seneca, Missouri. It will be open for business September 2014. The owner and studio director, Ashley Gassaway, has been teaching dance for 11+ years. Ashley is a licensed and registered pediatric occupational therapist who has knowledge of child development and realizes the impact dance provides to all populations. Instruction will include bal

let, tap, jazz, contemporary, and tumbling. Dance classes will be for ages 2 and up. Smaller class sizes will also be offered for children with special needs.

We are excited to see everyone this week.

For tumbling classes barefoot or socks are appropriate. Tennis shoes would be best for the Adult hip hop class.

Water bottles could be helpful. The studio does not have a water fountain.

✨ Piper Beyer– Senior Spotlight ✨

Dance has been Piper’s greatest passion and constant companion since she was a little girl. What began as playful twirls around the house has grown into a lifelong love that has shaped so much of who she is today.

Through dance, she has met so many incredible people who have inspired her, supported her, and left a lasting impact on her journey. More than anything, dance has helped her grow into a stronger, more confident, and expressive version of herself. It has taught her discipline, resilience, creativity, and the power of perseverance.

As she reflects on her senior year, she is filled with gratitude for every moment spent dancing and for the amazing people she has met through MMDC. 💫

✨ Daphne Blunk – Senior Spotlight ✨

Daphne began dancing at MMDC six years ago, and it quickly became her second home. She loves the atmosphere of the studio and the friendships she’s built along the way, creating memories that mean so much to her. The people here have truly become like a second family, and she is so grateful for each of them.

Dance has given her a place to be herself and simply enjoy the moment, and it’s something she will always carry with her.

After graduation, she plans to continue her CNA and then attend nursing school to specialize in psychiatric care.

No matter where life takes her, dance and her MMDC family will always be a big part of her story.

We are so proud of you, Daphne and can’t wait to see all that your future holds!
