SHOOT THE MOON 📸🚶🏻🌕 aka The Gunsight Notch Highline

On November 2-3, 2025 I had the honor of taking part in a recurring Moonwalk Photography workshop put on by and . The highline crew led by included myself, , and . Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this happen 🫶

This experience really felt like a full circle moment in my highline journey having taken part in the establishment of this highline over 10yrs ago, July 1-5, 2015 (with , , and ). Since then I would guess this line has been rigged on at least 50+ occasions?

Crate stacking is so effin fun and truly an amazing activity ❤️‍🔥

Fully physically and mentally engaging, you get a rush while feeling safe on belay, and you’re likely surrounded by giggling supportive friends as you awkwardly negotiate how to stack the next crate. You may find the hardest part is keeping it together 😹😹😹

It turns out simply standing on two feet all your life has prepared you to stack crates. As Alex noted, he’s “never done this before” and yet there he is summiting his 12th crate off the rip 😲

At the end, it was that secured the title of Backwoods Barbie 2025 by stacking all 18 available crates 💅

Shoutout to the OG and for sparking the obsession 💌
