🎃 WE’RE HIRING FOR THE 2026 HAUNTED TRAIL SEASON! 👻
Wicked Wayne’s Haunted Trail is looking for people who are ready to work hard, have a TON of fun, and become part of our haunt family!
We have several positions available for our 2026 season:
👻 SCARE ACTORS – 10 positions
🎟️ DOOR STAFF / TICKET TAKERS – 1 position
🍔 CONCESSION / COOKS – 2 positions
💰 CASHIERS – 2 positions
🎃 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Must be 18 years or older
• Previous experience is helpful, but no experience is required for most positions
• Cashiers must have previous cashier experience and be comfortable counting money back
• Must be available to work Friday & Saturday evenings in October, plus Sunday, October 18th
• Typical work hours will be approximately 6:30/7:00 PM until 10:30 PM, depending on the night and time of the season
• We rarely stay until 11 PM, but everyone must be willing to stay until the last guest has gone through
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be able to stand for several hours at a time
• Must be dependable, punctual, respectful, and able to follow directions
• Must be able to work well with others and maintain a mature, professional attitude at all times, even while playing a character
👻 SCARE ACTORS:
Our actors need to be comfortable working in dark, foggy environments with strobe lighting and wearing a latex mask.
You must be able to perform your character repeatedly while staying energized and ready to give every guest the same great experience as they come through.
🎟️ DOOR STAFF / TICKET TAKERS:
This position requires someone with an outgoing personality who isn’t afraid to interact with people!
You will be accepting tickets while interacting with guests and telling a story as part of the experience. You may also need to address a crowd and help control lines when necessary.
🍔 CONCESSION / COOKS:
You must be able to prepare food and drinks quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly attitude with guests and working well with the rest of the team.
💰 PAY & THE FUN STUFF:
Pay is $30 per night.
And while the paycheck may be $30, the experience is priceless! 😜
We work hard, but we have A LOT of fun doing it. You’ll meet some pretty great people, make ridiculous memories, and become part of a team that makes the haunt happen every weekend. 👻
Then, on Friday, November 6th, we’ll have our employee Potluck, Awards & Prizes Night! 🏆🎉
We’ll eat, celebrate the season, hand out awards, and give away raffle prizes to our awesome crew!
