Jen's Old Quilts I love quilts! I am fascinated by the creativity, complexity, and craftsmanship of something well made. My goal is to bring the forgotten back to life.

I celebrate the forgotten makers of hand-stitched quilts who transformed simple fabrics into lasting works of art, preserving these heirlooms by collecting, restoring, buying, and selling antique and vintage quilts selected for their quality and artistry I appreciate the endless hours dedicated by the unknown quilter using their skills and creative minds to create works of art that were also useful in their homes. Something that can once again be appreciated and loved.

Available in November:) Hand-stitched and hand-quilted, this beautiful 100% cotton Double Wedding Ring quilt was made by an unknown maker and purchased in Tipton, Indiana.
The colorful prints date to the 1940s–1950s, including what appear to be several feedsack fabrics. Measures 73" L x 65" W.

The quilt has some scattered wear along the edges and does not have a binding. It is clean and ready for display, stacking, décor, or crafting. One additional soak should brighten the quilt even more. Fragrance-free. Stored in a temperature-controlled, low-light, pet- and smoke-free environment.

🌼 Prints appear to date to the c. 1950s, including what appear to be several feedsack fabrics. Features beautiful mid-century colors including cheddar/orange-yellow sashing, soft pink, teal, purple, florals, stripes, and more. Measures approximately 86" L x 65" W.
❤️ Well loved and showing age-appropriate wear, including binding and fabric wear along two ends, a few scattered tears, and light discolorations that should respond well to a gentle soak. Still displays beautifully and has wonderful vintage character. Perfect for light use, stacking, crafting, décor, or display.

Hand-stitched vintage quilt in the classic Grandmother’s Flower Garden pattern, made of 100% cotton. The vibrant prints appear to date from the 1930s–1950s, including what appear to be feedsack fabrics.

Beautifully hand-quilted at an impressive 7–9 stitches per inch, this quilt showcases a wonderful variety of Nile green, pinks, lavender, sky blue, red, florals, stripes, geometrics, and more.

The workmanship is exceptional, and the overall effect is truly showstopping.
Measures a generous 85" L x 76" W and is lightweight, making it perfect for light use, textile study, draping, gifting, stacking, or décor.

I have two quilts going to the New England Quilt Museum for their paper piecing exhibit, and I’m currently sewing sleeves onto them for hanging. It’s a time-consuming little job, but it’s also making me appreciate even more what the unknown makers of these quilts accomplished. The hours of piecing, stitching, quilting, and sheer patience that went into creating these treasures are truly amazing.

Available in November:) Antique hand-stitched quilt, expertly pieced and quilted from 100% cotton with cotton batting. The vibrant prints date c1930s, including what appear to be several feedsack fabrics. The classic palette features sky blue, bubblegum pink, butter yellow, Nile green, soft orange, cheddar, red, and more.

The quilt features a charming snow cone border and a neatly hand-stitched ¼-inch binding. Excellent condition with no rips, tears, holes, or stains. There are a few scattered areas of bunched batting consistent with its age and construction. Measures a generous 85x72 in.

Clean and ready for light use. A wonderful choice for collectors, textile study, draping, stacking, gifting, or décor.

Hand-stitched and made entirely of 100% cotton, this generous quilt features an exceptional assortment of early 20th-century prints dating from the 1900s–1920s. The palette and fabric variety include indigo, plaids, double pink, cheddar, Nile green, sky blue, lavender, butter yellow, bubblegum pink, mourning prints, shirtings, claret, ginghams, stripes, dots, florals, and more.

📏 Measures approximately 78 x 108 inches, providing an unusually generous size.

The quilting is exquisite and adds greatly to the character and textile interest of this piece. The quilt appears to have never been washed and retains a wonderful original quality. It is in exceptional condition with no rips, tears, holes, or stains. There are some scattered discolorations on the back.

SOLD:) This is a beautiful antique Marie Webster Wreath of Roses quilt by an unknown maker, purchased in Hillsboro, Ohio.
Hand-stitched throughout with exceptional appliqué and impeccable, dense quilting. The workmanship is truly outstanding, with beautifully executed floral appliqué and extensive quilting.

Made from 100% cotton, this is a particularly lovely example for collectors of antique appliqué quilts and Marie Webster designs. The graceful Wreath of Roses pattern has tremendous visual appeal and displays beautifully.

Excellent condition for its age. A few very light, scattered discolorations are present, but there are no rips, tears, holes, or stains. Overall, this quilt presents exceptionally well.
