Seldovia Arts Council Promoting the arts in our community by the sea. The Seldovia Arts Council is a nonprofit organization under the auspices of the City of Seldovia.

It is our mission to provide quality arts events and arts education through performances, workshops and educational opportunities for all ages.

What a weekend! So grateful for this community that comes out in the sunshine and the rain, and for John and Jane Sedor, the Seldovia Arts Council and the Levitt Family Foundation - plus countless other community members who made this event happen through support, blood sweat and tears!

- Online pre-registration at seldoviaartscouncil.org closes at 7pm tonight Friday 7/24!
- You CAN Register in person today 7/24 at the pavilion in Seldovia.
- or tomorrow morning 7/25 9:30-10:45 at Jakolof Dock (please bring cash 7/25 if you are able to)!

After the race, don’t forget to mosey over to the clamshell stage at 2:00 for a Pier One Theatre production of Aristophanie’s The Frogs! And enjoy the Seldovia Fly In

It’s time to pre-register for our Annual Jakolof Bay 10 Miler Run and Cycle Race - happening Saturday July 25th! It’s a rugged, hilly route from Jakolof Bay to Seldovia town. You can register online at website www.seldoviaartscouncil.org, or the day before (Friday the 24th) in Seldovia at the harbor pavilion! If you show up last minute at Jakolof that morning to register, please bring cash, in case our service is sketchy for square payments.

P.S. The prizes are fantastic this year!!!

Oh my, Day 1 of Songs on the Slough was so much FUN!! Can’t wait for Day 2 from 5:30-7:30 tonight!

Seldovia’s Songs on the Slough is THIS weekend 7/17 5:00pm and 18th 5:30pm thanks to the and the tireless efforts of the .arts council and Seldovia residents.

Thank you to Levitt Family Foundation for its support of SONGS ON THE SLOUGH! We love ‘s mission, which is to strengthen the social fabric of America through the power of free, live music. In 2026, Levitt is supporting more than 900 free outdoor concerts nationwide in 100+ towns and cities across all 50 states and Puerto Rico, bringing people together of all ages and backgrounds to create healthy, connected, and thriving communities. two different concerts timed with the tides, both happening on decks overlooking the slough. So paddle, row, sail or gently motor over there during the slack evening high tide for this unique event. Don’t have a boat, no big deal - you can hear and see from the Bridge!

Also, the is running a special late service from Seldovia to Homer those nights!

Our FAVORITE floating concert - the Seldovia Songs on the Slough - is occurring THIS weekend 7/17 5:00-7pm; and 7/18 5:30-7:30pm, thanks to Levitt Family Foundation and the tireless efforts of the Seldovia Arts Council and Seldovia residents: two different concerts timed with the tides, both happening on decks overlooking the slough. So paddle, row, sail or gently motor over there an hour before the evening high tide for this unique event on Friday from 5-7pm, and Saturday from 5:30-7:30. Don’t have a boat, no big deal - you can hear and see from the Bridge!

Also, the Seldovia Bay Ferry is holding a special late run from Seldovia to Homer - so you don’t have to leave early to get back across the Bay!
