You are LOVED
To the incredible volunteers of Selah Days —Thank you.
Thank you for the planning meetings that went way too long.
For the early mornings and the even later nights.
For unloading tables, hauling garbage bags, hanging banners, moving barricades, answering the same question 900 times, and somehow still smiling while doing it.
Thank you for setting up.
Thank you for cleaning up.
Thank you for staying after everyone else went home.
Thank you to the fireworks crew running on caffeine and determination, hoping to control the wind.
To the Clean Up Crew that came in early, running on 11 minutes of sleep.
Thank you for keeping your cool when people were impatient, rude, demanding, or just plain awful. You didn’t deserve that — but you still showed grace, professionalism, humor, and heart. (Well, at least in the beginning, lol)
Thank you for working through aching backs, bad knees, sore feet, headaches, sunburns, exhaustion, and every “I’m too old for this” moment. And then somehow showing up again the next day anyway.
Thank you for sacrificing family time, rest, weekends, energy, and comfort so your community could laugh, celebrate, reconnect, and make memories together.
People see the parade. The music. The food. The fireworks. The fun. What they don’t always see is you —the people behind the scenes making all of it happen.
Selah Days exists because volunteers choose to care. And Selah is better because you do.
You are the calm in the chaos. The problem-solvers. The cleanup crew. The planners. The fixers. The helpers. The people who quietly carry the weight so others can simply enjoy the moment.
And even when it felt unnoticed, it mattered.
Your community is stronger because of your kindness.
Your effort created joy.
Your sacrifice created a connection.
Your time created memories that families will hold onto for years.
We are better because of you. Selah is better because of you.
And from the bottom of our hearts —thank you for being absolutely amazing. ❤️🤍💙
