Kira has been focusing on rock design and just like that I am her assistant. She will color the rock and ask me to write the word or phrase she wants. I then get to varnish the rocks so she can share her message.

She usually loves to varnish, but this morning she chose to wash about a dozen rocks and needed a little help. Always happy to oblige 💯

Kira is a beginning reader. She is working on sight words for school, but she doesn’t know how to spell the messages she’d like to put on her rocks. She created index cards (spelling help from me 😉) with her favorite messages so she would be able to create her rocks independently. 💯
