‘From the Ordinary to the Extraordinary’ is open at the Scott Milo Gallery in downtown Anacortes through July 25, 2026. Thank you to the Scott Milo Gallery and CONGRATULATIONS to Karen Bakke, who just sold her painting, Quietude, today!

The Artists' Reception on Friday, June 5th, will correspond to the Anacortes Art Walk from 6:00-8:00pm. I brought in a few new pieces to .collective and this one was hung above some terrific work by the featured artist, ! You should see and feel these! Wooden handbags, earrings and other items made from old pianos!

THIS FRIDAY, JUNE 5th: Join us to celebrate ‘From the Ordinary to the Extraordinary’, a juried exhibit with artworks by Puget Sound Group Northwest Artists members at the Scott Milo Gallery in downtown Anacortes. The exhibit will be open from June 5 - July 25, 2026, just in time for summer in the PNW.

Awards will be announced from 5:00-6:00pm, and the public Artists' Reception will correspond to the Anacortes Art Walk from 6:00-8:00pm. Stop by the gallery to meet the artists in the exhibit, see the beautiful show, and enjoy some food and drink.

This exhibition explores the thin, shimmering line between the mundane and the magnificent. The exhibition will highlight the "transformative process" of art, which, similar to alchemy, changes materials and perspectives. We can't wait to share it with you!
