For Public Notice: Sedona-in-Motion Roundabout improvement project construction will begin at Roundabout < A & B > August 2nd. SPEED BUMPS shall be installed in all City Roundabouts beginning with The Brewer interchange, also the 179 “Y” connection. Installed Speedbumps will reduce the average speed from 15MPH to 7MPH Increasing traffic flow and easing congestion by creating a continuous flow of cars at a much slower speed. Roundabout A will have 4 Speedbumps shown on diagram (16c) And Roundabout B will have 3 installed. All other roundabouts in Sedona city limits will have their roads upgraded in round II beginning October 15th.

This newest East-Expansion allows for circular pedestrian flow with a new second highway crosswalk giving tourists more choices improving the overall traffic experience for Locals.

We did a lot of thought and planning after our North's successful expansion in late 2017. Many felt we should have built a bridge, or even a tunnel. But research demonstrates the consumer does not prefer to go up or down ramps that add additional steps, time or effort.

The East's expansion will finally allow for CPF [circular pedestrian flow] reducing congestion at pedestrian crosswalks in half by giving pedestrians two choices in highway crosswalks.

Now we can move the tourists more efficiently in a circular shopping movement. This movement of shoppers should increase average daily revenues to our tenants and we can't to implement this exciting award winning civic design.

Rising 21’ above the water, SedonaLand dug up the original Yavapai County Concept for Red rock crossing. To Clear 100 Year Flood levels and meet code to handle continuous traffic, this bridge runs almost 500' feet long.

But once all these cars are re-routed and get over the bridge heading north, they will end up on a slow 25 MPH winding road up to the high school. Which begs the question, whats the point?
