That’s a wrap on Irish Fest! 🍀 After a long, hot weekend, the festival came to an abrupt, dramatic end today when a sudden thunderstorm rolled in with heavy rain and lightning, prompting evacuations over to Crown Center.

While everyone else headed inside for safety, we made the call to stay put to protect our canopy and inventory (admittedly a bit against our better judgment!). We spent the storm literally holding our tent down against the wind.
We are safe and we did save our canopy and inventory.

Through the chaos, we did our best to help out our neighboring vendors, though our hearts go out to the artists who suffered some major casualties and damage to their setups.

We’re tired, soaked, but deeply grateful that everything made it through. Thank you to everyone who stopped by this weekend—we survived the elements and can't wait for the next event.

Huge shout out to all the Kansas City Irish Fest staff and volunteers. They were so amazing throughout the entire event and even the storm. Thank you so much. 🍀

☘️ Jo wants everyone to know that today is the LAST day of the Kansas City Irish Fest! ☘️
Come out, enjoy the festival, and shop all kinds of super cool artists and vendors—including, of course, The Rusty Cauldron. 😉🖤

🥵 Want to beat the heat? Come around 7 PM when things start to cool down a bit! Art in the Park will be going until 9 PM tonight, while the rest of the festival continues even later.

Come wander, shop, soak up the Irish Fest vibes, and say hi to us! 🇮🇪✨

🌙✨ After Dark at the Booth ✨🌙

There is something truly magical about experiencing the oddities after the sun goes down. When the lights go low, the moody glow brings out a whole new level of charm in every single piece!

From our custom upcycled oddities lamps casting warm shadows through bone and botanical elements, to glass cloches and preserved specimens catching the light just right, nighttime markets hit differently. 🕯️🖤

If you love the dark, whimsical, and unusual, come see us in our element and check out how these pieces come alive in the evening shadows.

August is officially coming to a close, and what an incredibly successful month it’s been! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support us and took home a piece of our work. 🧡

We absolutely cannot wait to see what September has in store, and we are kicking the month off in a massive way! The Rusty Cauldron is thrilled to announce that we will be setting up at the 2026 Kansas City Irish Fest this weekend at Crown Center. You can find us in the beautiful Art in the Park section of the festival. 🇮🇪
