The Missouri State Fair in upper-90s heat is a full contact sport.

You've walked the barns. You've done the midway. Your shirt has a salt line on it. Every square foot of shade on that property has been claimed since 10 a.m.

Then you spot it in the distance. A building. Cold air. Slushies. Games that do not require you to stand in the sun.

Three Dog Night takes the Missouri State Fair Grandstand tonight at 7:30 with Little River Band 🎸

Over here at Power Up, we're running our own version: Two Frog Night. Same setlist, fewer decibels, a lot more yarn.

Our crochet frog plushies are in the prize case now: handmade, extremely soft, and apparently capable of ambushing you mid-shift. Come grab one before the show or unwind with us after.

You don't have to have the right vehicle. You don't have to have the right shoes. You just have to have an hour to kill between shows.

The Missouri Championship Truck & Tractor Pull runs Sunday and the Pro Pulling League Shootout runs Monday — and there is a whole lot of fairgrounds between the morning classes and the 7:30 gate.

Pull in, cool off, get your horsepower fix on our racing cabinets. Same thrills, considerably less diesel.

You're up at 5 a.m. You're washing, clipping, hauling, and then standing around waiting on your showing to start. We see you.

Come down to Power Up Arcade and enjoy a nice cold slushie on us with the purchase of a play card. Just show our staff your exhibitor pass or wristband to qualify.

The All-American Rejects hit the Missouri State Fair Grandstand tonight at 7:30 with Joyce Manor — plus a firework and drone show right after 🎸

Our owner had the outfit picked out three weeks ago. Then the arcade got busy.
No hard feelings. There's always Guitar Hero.

WE WANT YOU… to try our corn dogs 🦅

All-American corn dogs, $2 each, now through the end of the Missouri State Fair. Mini corn dogs, too — great for the kids, and honestly great for adults who aren't ready to commit to a full one.

The fair's theme this year is Show-Me Stars & Stripes. We took that personally.
$2 corn dogs. Fair week only. Eagle sold separately, and apparently uncatchable.
