From an intimate rehearsal to a RIOT on the stage, Steven Mackey brings the heat!

For the orchestra’s season finale, Mackey, on electric guitar, and mezzo-soprano Alicia Olatuja Voice join the Seattle Symphony and the Seattle Symphony Chorale to perform his work, RIOT, which he can tell you more about in the video 👆

The second half of the show finds the orchestra and Chorale joined by four other vocal soloists in Beethoven’s mighty Ninth Symphony.

Music Director Xian Zhang conducts both works in our final Symphonic Series concerts of the season, on June 18–21 at Benaroya Hall.

For 30 years, Hollywood‘s Jeff Goldblum and his band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, have been delighting audiences worldwide with their take on classic jazz and American Songbook standards.
