Story time. Last weekend at the market, a woman was looking at all the glassware. She left. She came back about an hour later. When I approached her she said she wanted to get a set of glasses and she felt that it was almost meant to be that she was there today because she saw exactly what she wanted. She was going to purchase these glasses for herself for her new place. She wanted a combination of two different glasses that I make and paid for everything in advance. Here is what I made for her. These are absolutely stunning and I love - love when customers give me new ideas for creating glassware. What makes this custom order so special is that these glasses are for her. She decided to treat herself. My inclination about her is that this isn’t something she would typically do for herself. I feel honored. Her glasses are on their way tomorrow.

Finished a set of commissioned glasses in the PNW style. Each of the 6 glasses a different representation of a part of the PNW. These are 4 of the 8 glasses I ended up making. Honestly I think I tried 12 different options before settling on these. Oof, this one was a creative challenge. I hope you see my own backyard, the Cascade Mountains, the bright colors of Eastern Wa and the many colors of moss, trees, and plants native to this area. Thank you for pushing me outside my boundaries to create some PNW I absolutely love!
