WITCH RIPPER
Witch Ripper

Conceived in 2012 in the city of grey skies, lush vegetation and loud rock, Seattle, Washington’s Witch Ripper garnered critical acclaim and a strong buzz in the underground scene with their constant flow of sludgey, progressive sci fi metal.

The US metal band perfectly combines melodic heaviness with pinches of progressive, sludge, and other styles with seeming ease. Witch Ripper can be generally located within the wider sonic realm that is inhabited by Mastodon, Baroness, and High On Fire, yet they also continue to channel the rock bombast of Queen and David Bowie as well as the modern prog of Coheed And Cambria and Muse.

WIZZERD
Wizzerd

Montana’s own Wizzerd has been slinging homegrown riffs since 2014. Emerging from a basement in Kalispell, these four musicians have spent years refining their craft both on the road and in the confines of their rehearsal space or in the studio.

This time has seen them consistently push their sound into new directions, releasing five studio albums, a split record, a number of EPs and lost recording releases, and selections included on compilation records with heavyweights across the greater stoner genre; including collaborations with Cursed Tongue Records, Glory or Death Records, Ripple Music, and most recently and notably the mighty Fuzzorama Records for the releases of these works.

In addition to this genre-bending catalogue, Wizzerd has put in countless miles in the van since their inception, including tours across the US several times over and a handful of times reaching into Europe, building a strong sense of community within the stoner ethos.

From fantasy tales to blasting into Space, Wizzerd has proven time and again that they are here to rock the world of each and every listener in their path.

Heiress Seattle

Formed in 2006 and mostly based in Seattle, Heiress play a cathartic blend of hardcore, punk and (occasionally atmospheric, often sludgy) post-metal.

Consisting of former and current members of Himsa, Undertow, Re-buried, and Supercrush, the band has released 5 lps and numerous eps on labels such as Deathwish Inc, The Mylene Sheath, Satanik Royalty Records and Indecision Records.

Vacancy Floor

Born from the Badlands of the High Desert in Central Oregon, Vacancy Floor weaves sonic meditations spinning tales of primal lore.

Buddy True, Ryan Kittrell, and John Thomas set the stage with droning thunderous rhythms and ethereal soundscapes accompanied by harmonizing howls of crushing emotion.

Vacancy Floor is currently working on their second full-length album.

BATHYPELAGIC
Bathypelagic

Bathypelagic is a two-piece heavy music project from Seattle, Washington, formed in 2025, built around crushing low-end, immersive atmosphere, and dynamic songwriting that moves between drone, doom, noise, and blackened intensity.

The band formed after Bismuth co-founder Tanya Byrne relocated from the UK to the US for work, bringing an end to one chapter and the beginning of another. In Seattle, Byrne joined forces with Ryan Welch, combining decades of involvement in underground heavy music and extensive touring experience throughout the UK, Europe, and the US.

Bathypelagic’s debut recording, Lahar, was tracked by Greg Norman at Electrical Audio and mastered by James Plotkin.

SUN CROW
Sun Crow

Sun Crow is a heavy rock band from Seattle. Their blackened take on classic doom conjures the old spirits of heavy rock with low, bleak grooves and a shrieking metallic despair.

Long time veterans of intimate venues in the Pacific Northwest, Sun Crow have brought their moody onslaught to Ripple Fest Texas, Planet Desert Rock Weekend, Cloudbreak Music Fest, and the Rain City Doom Fest.

Limping out of exile, plague, and grief, Sun Crow have been hard at work on the follow up to the highly regarded heavy underground release Quest for Oblivion. Following the dark and gloomy monster with molten riffs in a daze of doomed psychedelic blues blasting out from the moss covered ruins, a forthcoming release with the Ripple Music family is slated for the darker days of spring.

Sun Crow will bring their heavy existential doom blues to Rain City Doom Fest 2026 on December 19 at the Funhouse stage.

DEATH PARADE
DEATH PARADE

Death Parade is a dreamy amalgamation of the complex and contradictory feelings that live inside us all. Haunted and heavy, the Portland-based band has come a long way from their dream-pop roots, slashing their name down from Laura Palmer’s Death Parade in a symbolic display of growth and change. Brainchild of Laura Hopkins – original member and songwriter on Blackwater Holylight’s first two albums – Death Parade infuses a ghostly longing with notes of deep sorrow and anger.

Grief-strickenly earnest, Hopkins’ big sound embodies their own experiences with betrayal, both personal and within the healthcare system. Having battled endometriosis for 15 years, the dynamic songs channel the artist’s echoing pain of wanting to escape suffering, while being continuously pulled back into it.

Songwriter, guitarist and vocalist Laura Hopkins is joined by Tatiana Havill on guitar, Stanley Lafever on drums, and Cristina Dobbelaere on bass. Death Parade’s third album, Vernaissance, comes out spring of 2027 on Accident Prone Records.

Mount Saturn

Born in the foggy mountains of the Pacific Northwest, Mount Saturn has been conjuring their desolate, echo-driven landscapes for the better part of a decade.

Now relocated, revitalized and refocused in Portland, OR; Mount Saturn crawls back out of the dark to level stages with their bass-heavy, swirling incantations.

Joined by Trevor Bereck on bass and Owen Sheets on the drums, Mount Saturn indulges in increased rhythmic density as Ray Blum channels riffs that alternate between chiming melody and driving crush while Violet Blum’s vocals move from catacomb whispers to the desperate howl of a wraith on the moors.

Born of simmering anger and burning tubes; Saturn returns. Heed the call.
