I've had a bit of trouble coming up with a topic recently, and unfortunately I have to say that it's because I'm bored. Having been active in the paranormal community for the last decade, and an avid research on the topic since I could read, I feel that I've consumed all of the recent data. I'm still anticipating attending the Oregon Ghost Conference on April 1st-3rd and will be listening to the speakers in earnest to discover something new. [ 103 more words. ]

January 25th, 2016 I was surprised yesterday when I saw a short piece on Fox News about an extreme haunting in a western Washington. The surprise wasn't from the details about the haunting, but because this house had previously been investigated by Ghost Adventures in season 10, episode 10, in 2015. Now it looks like a British paranormal investigative team is coming to spend a week at the house looking for paranormal activity. [ 214 more words. ]

After reading and writing about the Nova house, and reviewing some of the associated controversy that went with it, it reminded me of something that crosses my mind sometimes: Shouldn't this be haunted? What I mean by that is there are places that just seem like they should be plagued with spirits, urban legends, something. But for all intensive purposes don't seem to be. [ 397 more words. ]

Whilst browsing around the internet for some interesting ghostly news I came across the report of arson at the historic Nova House. The first article I read, here, mentioned the house being reportedly haunted and featured on The Haunted Librarian's site. It also mentioned photographs and a story done by photographer, Seph Lawless. I just caught wind of this convention. Ghosts of the Stanley, at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. Years ago when I was with AGHOST I went to a convention here. It was my first solo trip ever, and I couldn't have picked a better place. Fantastic setting in majestic, snow covered hills. Getting drunk easy up in that high Colorado air lol. [ 82 more words. ]

It looks like the Pennhurst Paranormal Association is offering public tours for groups and individuals at the old Pennhurst State School. Private investigations will run you $800 for weekdays, $1000 and for weekends. I'm not sure if this is for groups or individuals. Public ghost hunts are $99 a person. The prices are pretty steep, but it gets you some great evidence; it may be worth it. Pennhurst Paranormal

This story caught my attention after reading an article on the laist.com, about a movie that's supposedly in the works. The original article, here, was written by crime journalist Jeff Maysh.
