We are very excited to announce the return of Feedback Forum (in-person)!

Wondering if your music is playable, scores are legible, or mixes are clear?

This is an opportunity for SCA members https://seattlecomposers.org/Membership to receive valuable feedback from peers on your lyrics, instrumentation, productions, and more.

Click here https://seattlecomposers.org/event-6695706 to submit your work for feedback. Once a handful of submissions have been received, a date for the Forum will be set with the members whose pieces are being featured.

Looking forward to receiving all of your works!

Seattle filmmakers, composers, editors, directors, producers, and creatives — come hang out with us at Harbor Island Studios for the 48 HR Film & Music Mixer on Friday, June 5!

We’re teaming up with the Seattle Composers Alliance for a casual meet ’n greet designed to help local filmmakers connect directly with Seattle-area composers before this summer’s Seattle 48 Hour Film Project.

One of the biggest challenges during the 48 is finding great music fast. This mixer is a chance to meet talented local composers in person, build creative relationships ahead of time, and discover collaborators for your next film.

We’re especially excited to host this event at Harbor Island Studios as part of our ongoing effort to build stronger creative infrastructure and community connections in Seattle. This event is happening in part thanks to support from 4Culture’s Free Public Access program, helping us create more opportunities for filmmakers and artists to connect and collaborate.

🎬 Meet local filmmakers & composers
🎼 Discover original music for your projects
🤝 Build creative connections before the competition
🍿 Snacks & beverages provided
📍 Hosted at Harbor Island Studios

Whether you already have a team or are just curious about the 48HFP community, this is a great opportunity to network, collaborate, and learn more about Seattle’s filmmaking scene.

Seattle recently declared May as Creative and Creator Economy Month and Cre8te Summit is the centerpiece.

Join SCA in Seattle for a curated gathering focused on how creative work becomes sustainable, scalable, and owned. It’s taking place on May 14–15, 2026, in downtown Seattle at the 1201 Tower.

Here, you'll meet fellow creators, founders, entrepreneurs, small business owners, and operators focused on building real revenue beyond one-off deals, understanding ownership and IP, navigating platforms with intention, and creating long-term, sustainable careers.

The full summit runs for two days, and SCA is co-hosting three special mini Expert Speaker Series sessions across them: Make It Go Viral, Career Beyond Virality, and Convert & Monetize.

Make It Go Viral — May 14, 1:30 – 2:00pm

Career Beyond Virality — May 14, 4:00 – 4:30pm

Convert & Monetize — May 15, 1:30 – 2:00pm

(Schedule subject to change. Go to cre8tesummit.com to stay up-to-date!)

Learn more https://www.cre8tesummit.com/speakers . SCA Members, head on over to the Members Only page and find a 20% off link under the Perks section! https://seattlecomposersalliance.wildapricot.org/

If you are building in the creative economy or are interested in growing in the creator economy, this is going to be a room worth being in.
