"Human beings are weird! They’re also very funny. ‘I love you’ should be the greatest three words you’ll ever hear, but even the most resilient of us self-destruct at the worst (and sometimes best) possible moments. These four interweaving monologues shine a blinding spotlight on our ever-churning internal voices, the ones that prop us up, calm us down, and send us on chaotic mental spirals.

After a sturdy development process—thank you to Pacific Play Company, SCRiBLAB, Rain City Projects, and the 2024 New Works Northwest Monologue Slam—Kiki and I can’t wait for people to finally experience HOW TO LEAVE. Then, for the love of god, go grab a drink afterwards." - Marcus Gorman
