🎉 Happy Birthday to Marsha P. Johnson! 💙🏳️‍⚧️

Marsha P. Johnson was a beloved activist, performer, and community leader whose advocacy helped shape the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. Alongside countless others, she played an important role in the uprising at the Stonewall Inn and spent her life caring for LGBTQ+ people, especially transgender youth and those experiencing homelessness.

Today, we celebrate her legacy, her courage, and the generations she continues to inspire. 🌈

✉️💙 "This is My Letter to the World" reimagines Emily Dickinson's poetry through a contemporary musical lens.

Composer Toby Young wrote the piece during the COVID-19 pandemic, drawing on the poem's themes of reaching out across distance and the enduring power of human connection. The result is a moving reminder that music can help bridge even our most difficult moments. 🎶✨
