🎉 Happy Birthday to Marsha P. Johnson! 💙🏳️‍⚧️

Marsha P. Johnson was a beloved activist, performer, and community leader whose advocacy helped shape the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. Alongside countless others, she played an important role in the uprising at the Stonewall Inn and spent her life caring for LGBTQ+ people, especially transgender youth and those experiencing homelessness.

Today, we celebrate her legacy, her courage, and the generations she continues to inspire. 🌈

🌎🎶 "Mercy Mercy Me (The Ecology)" was written by Marvin Gaye in 1971 as part of his groundbreaking album "What's Going On."

Long before environmental issues became part of the national conversation, Gaye used his music to reflect on pollution, the health of our planet, and our responsibility to care for the world around us. More than 50 years later, its message remains as relevant as ever. 💚✨

✉️💙 "This is My Letter to the World" reimagines Emily Dickinson's poetry through a contemporary musical lens.

Composer Toby Young wrote the piece during the COVID-19 pandemic, drawing on the poem's themes of reaching out across distance and the enduring power of human connection. The result is a moving reminder that music can help bridge even our most difficult moments. 🎶✨
