Meet the artist:
My name is Rafa, I am on my reconnecting journey to my Mexican culture. I am doing this through tattooing and learning more about art, history and culture during the process.

I find joy in exploring the history, and creating tattoos that celebrate the beauty of belonging to such a rich culture.

My work goes deeper than the skin, as I seek to honor the ancestors, knowledge, and a way of life that is at risk of being destroyed or forgotten.

I aim to take tattooing back the the good medicine it was born from. 🌱💫
