This month, the African Cultural Arts Center Steering Committee gathered with local realtor Pearl Nelson to take another step toward bringing ACAC to life!

We’re building a cohort of 8–10 prospective tenants who will help shape the Center while preparing to grow and thrive within it.

Over nine months, the cohort will learn, plan, and build together—with the goal of creating a strong community of businesses, artists, and entrepreneurs at ACAC.

Interested in joining the cohort and helping shape the future of ACAC? Get in touch! 🧡

When everyone brings something, there is enough for all.

Odunde Fest returns October 23–25 with Stone Soup: A Celebration of Culture, Community & Unity.

We’re inviting businesses, organizations, and community members to add their ingredient to the pot by becoming an Odunde Fest 2026 Sponsor.

Sponsorships start at just $25 and help us invest in artists, cultural education, and our community.

There’s a place for everyone at the table.

ADEFUA NEEDS YOUR VOICE.

We’re working to bring the African Cultural Arts Center home to Rainier Valley—but a zoning barrier is standing in the way.

On September 16 at 9 a.m., help us tell Seattle City Council why ACAC matters to our community.

Speak at City Hall, by phone, or submit written comments.
