Feature: Nesil Izil got her start after attending a program that some of the greatest comedians in history went through: Drug Rehab. Nesil’s Detox nurses agreed she was “hilarious” and “definitely smoking ci******es in the bathroom but we can’t prove it”. After getting clean and sober, Nesil later moved to New York where she started her Comedy career working for Funny Hunnyz LLC. Since then, Nesil has been in the Seattle International Comedy Competition, Bumbershoot, and has also preformed with Comedy greats like Franqi French(NBC), Joe List(Comedy Central), Adam Conover (Netflix), Nimesh Patel(SNL), and Janeane Garofalo, who told Nesil she liked her name.

Host: Jeanina Rivera is a Seattle-based comedian with the energy of your best friend oversharing at brunch. They’re nonbinary, Mexican American, and deeply committed to making everything about them. Follow them on Instagram at .

FEATURE: Shaped by their experiences as a child model for no less than 3 Target advertisements, Benny Jensen has never let humility stand in their way of the spotlight. Benny has been doing standup in Seattle since 2013, opening for comedians such as Jay Jurden, Jo Firestone, Hari Kondabolu, and Mary Beth Barone. He has been a featured guest on live performances of StraightioLab and Exploration Live. Benny has also acted in various local projects (Northern Belles, Smoke Screen), competed in the Seattle International Comedy Competition, and performed at Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival.

HOST: Liz Thompson is pretty much from Vermont (raised and corn-fed in Nebraska), but now she lives in its geographical opposite: Seattle. An optimist with a dark sense of humor - she has hosted for Brian Posehn, Matt Braunger, Corinne Fisher, featured for Aaron Chen, and performed in Seattle International Comedy Competition 2025 and Upper Left Festival 2024.

It’s been a wild few weeks. With the closure of our longtime venue, the future of The Comedy Nest is up in the air. But your producers are working hard to find a new venue to make sure underrepresented comics have a place to shine.
