Well tended climbing areas don’t just happen. They take people willing to put in the work.

This summer, Washington Climbers Coalition (WCC) volunteers have been across the state replacing old climbing hardware and helping make sport climbing safer. Their mission is simple: make Washington a better place to climb through advocacy, stewardship, and education. That’s the spirit behind Cross Over, our upcoming community competition anchored in outdoor stewardship.

It takes a lot of work to turn better climbing areas into reality. While WCC volunteers are doing that work on the ground, support from the broader community helps make it possible. Black Diamond Seattle , Figurehead Brewing Company, and Wood Shop BBQ are pitching in for Cross Over with prizes for the event raffle, helping us raise funds for WCC.

Come have fun with a mission! Win some raffle prizes, and support the work that keeps Washington climbing areas we'll cared for.

Join Cross Over, our community climbing competition anchored in outdoor stewardship. We’re teaming up with the Washington Climbers Coalition to celebrate the network of people who help us climb hard in beautiful locations, both inside and outside.
Climbing challengesl include an ultra traverse (in honor of all the sport climbers — come test your endurance!), head to head boulder sets, and the return of the popular climbing limbo.

Awards for the top competitors in our Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced brackets.

All skill levels and climbers are invited to try hard and have fun!

We believe in access to recreation and a healthy lifestyle. Our Sunday free yoga program welcomes everyone to practice with us. Seattle Parks and Recreation just approved our permit for September classes.
Come practice with us every Sunday free of charge. Whether indoors or outdoors, you are warmly welcome at Half Moon Bouldering!

The Sunday free yoga schedule:
- 9:30a - 10:30a - Indoor class at Half Moon Bouldering (in paralel with supervised kids climb, Weekend Rockers)
- 11:15a - 12:15p - Outdoor class Sandel Park in September (Neighbors who love our neighborhood and park)
This class moves indoors starting October, or if if rains
