Howdy Girls, G**s, and Theys and everyone else! After a long hiatus/hibernation, I’m jumping back into action for one of my favorite affairs of the year, Fantagraphics’ Hot Off The Press Book Fair, this’ll be their 12th Year, happening July 12th outside of the Fantagraphics Bookstore and Gallery, from 5 to 9 PM, FREE, all ages welcome, live music, and refreshments will be served!

Showcasing alternative comix, prints, zines, music, and more from 50 regional and national artists. Special guest Peter Bagge will debut two new collections of his celebrated comix series, Hate. Musical entertainment provided by the Little U-Men, a tribute to the legendary proto-grunge group featuring former members Tom Price, Jim Tillman, and friends. They'll be joined by former label mate Thalia Zedek (Live Skull/Come/Uzi). This event also commemorates the 40th anniversary of storied Fallout Records with DJ sets by Russ Battaglia, Wez Lundry, and Carmella Ortiz. Festivities include an exhibition of posters and illustrations by Justin Hampton from his new book, Visual Feast. Free for all ages! Refreshments will be served."

Devastated to hear of David Lynch's passing yesterday 💔- this man had more brilliance in one strand of his silver hair than I can only hope to have. Despite my doing two Twin Peaks themed pieces for different Twin Peaks exhibitions, my first ever seeing his work was Eraserhead. After that, Blue Velvet, Wild At Heart, I still have so much of his cinematography to see- Twin Peaks truly is a staple amongst PNW culture though. (I believe the second piece is framed and somewhere in our spare room, I'll have to pull it out and give it a proper home.)

Hello frands and fiends! Even though I am starting to get work, I'm still not in the clear yet/making the Benjamins- I've recently been sorting and organizing our storage room and I have several original paintings I'd like to part with and have them find an extraordinary new home. If you click on the picture it will showcase title, medium, year (if I happen to remember), and price. I'm afraid pricing doesn't include S&H which I'd like to work out with the person just because I feel it may vary based on the size of the piece. Unfortunately I was not accepted into an Autumn Market I was really looking forward to and I admit the other Market has a steep (for me right now) entry fee, so - that being said, dropping my online store https://mockeryandvodka.storenvy.com/ if you'd like to purchase any of my wares, and/or get anything for a friend! Howdy girls, g**s, and theys- your friendly neighborhood cartoonist is still unemployed and broke as a joke 🤡, nevertheless I persist- I was accepted into the Kinda Bookish Zine Festival and will be one of the vendors there this May 25th 12-6 PM, at Six of Pikes Studio on Capitol Hill, if you have been itching to get anything from me but don't want to pay or wait on Snail Mail, you should swing by and pick up wares from me! ORRR just join and/or spread the word! I'm really looking forward to this so hoping to see some friendly faces.
