Tango Happy Hour™ is an easy, low-pressure excuse to share some laughs and some good, old fashioned human interaction. Simple, tango-inspired partner games help break down the social barriers of meeting new people. After that, socializing is easy! NO partner or experience necessary. Just bring yourself and come ready to unwind with us, enjoy a drink, delicious food, and explore connection on a whole ‘nother level!

It's Mirta & Sebastián — and that means... chacarera! 💃🏻 As often happens when the talented Mirta Wymerszberg & Sebastián Quintero play for us at TangoHappyHour, we find ourselves doing a little chacarera at the end. We'll do a quick explanation and you can just follow along, so even if you've never danced chacarera before, not to worry. Have you ever heard someone say, "A good lead can make anyone dance well?" I have, more times than I can count. Let me tell you something about that: It's true. 🔴 AND following is a skill -- and a good follow can empower any lead to dance better, too. In fact, with 17 years of teaching both leads and follows, I've learned some key principles about both roles... So much to say on this, it's for another post or even in my next book. But the short version is that, no matter how skilled a lead is, the conversation will feel infinitely more satisfying if the follow knows how to meet him, or even better, how to inspire the lead to meet her.
