RIP Shelley Duvall - one of the true singular talents to come out of the new wave in Hollywood during the '70s! However I truly believe that there was NEVER a better match between artist and character than her performance in Altman's "Popeye" as Olive Oyl - PERFECTION!!!

Hey Kiddleywinks - I'm all ready to go for Sunday's Seattle Pride Parade!! For those of you who like to "do it all" - there is a "Pre-Parade Show" 10am at Westlake! Around 10:20 Seattle Pride Executive Dir. Pattie Hearn will be introducing us Grand Marshalls. So I'll be on hand for a smile and a wave! Yesterday I got a call from KIRO 7 News asking if would like to be interviewed along the Parade route as part of their coverage of the event. So keep your eyes on your TV sets - those of you who cannot attend in person! For those of you who will be there - don't be afraid to come say 'hi', ask for a selfie, or a hug! That's what I'm there for!! Can't wait to see all of you!!

Hey Kiddleywinks - Happy Mother's Day to all the many Mother's out there! I'm busy again today!! Beginning with the Soil Auction followed by Tina, Bring Me the Axe: A Mother's Day Funday!! (My across the hall neighbor, Danny's Novice Project for the The Sisters Of Perpetual Indulgence, The Abbey of St. Joan.
Another entire day in a dress!! Oh what joy.... 😳😂 Thankfully liquor will be free flowing at both events!! So my couture today will most definitely be "eggs"-spired.. Heehee - I think I've got that covered!! Then I suppose I better go get some 'Dutch Cleanser', wire hangers, or perhaps a rare steak... ehehehe M'wah - M. 💋💖

Hey Kiddleywinks - Just got my weekly ticket sales report - Whew!! Tickets are almost gone for Saturday's Show!! However - the Thursday Show is barely a third sold!! That just won't do, kids!! Egan's Ballard Jam House is not that large of a room - 46 capacity! So a small audience is REEEEEEALLY small!!
It's not so much for me - but Bobbi Jo Blessings & Derek Eisel - I want their debut as part of the Seattle Cabaret Festival to be a great time for them!! I mean, it's bad enough they had to get paired with me! 😜😳So I'm asking you PLEASE - don't do the usual Seattle thing of waiting until the last minute to get your tickets!!
Like I've said - but no one seems to believe me - these two shows will be the last time I'll be Singing LIVE in public. My show is full of songs I've always wanted to perform: some I've lip-synced; some I've mangled at karaoke; some were actually written for me!! All in all - it's going to be tons of fun!! DO NOT MISS THIS!!!
