A little Tacoma trouble for your timeline…

The Fun Police may not fit neatly into the traditional Irish-music box—but, to be fair, we’ve never fit neatly into any box. We’re more of a world-folk-punk, genre-confused musical incident with strong Celtic tendencies and an entire Irish set hiding in the cupboard for St. Patrick’s Day.

This song has been finding quite a few ears lately, so I figured I’d sneak it into Seattle Celtic Music and see what you all think.

Give it a listen—and if anyone can figure out exactly what genre we are, please let us know. We gave up years ago. ☘️🎶

Ahead of their date at the Mcmenamins Elks Temple - Spanish Ballroom with guests, Raising Slane, Ockham's Razor has released concert footage from previous stops on their west coast tour. Check out their cover of Sinéad O'Connor’s song, “The Emperor’s New Clothes” and then head over to the Spanish Ballroom on September 17th to experience the band Irish Music Magazine official called “musical geniuses.”
