This is called Horse Galloping at the Fair, about 12x8.5 inches, pencil on paper, based on a photo I took of horses being riden and shown at our county fair a couple of weeks ago. I was in 4-H growing up and always went to the fair. I didn't show animals but I gave presentations, submitted photography and artwork, learned to cook and sew, etc. It was probably my favorite experience during my school years. I loved going back and talking to the kids about their animals. It is totally adorable. I went through all of the animal pavillions and the goats were the most friendly. I would put out my hand and they would lick it and then they would but their head up to the fence and I would scratch their heads. Each one did the same thing. I could tell they were asking me to scratch their heads. I also saw animals being auctioned off in one part of the fair. This will be available as prints soon. See less

This is my whole Dandelions with Ladybug and Butterfly painting, it is 11x14 inches, watermedia and colored pencil on paper, painted from life of danelions I picked in the alley and then I added the butterfly and ladybug. For some reason I used my computer to crop part of it out to make a perfect square, but I wanted to show you the whole thing. Artfully Walls accepted both the square verion and the whole version. I will put links below in the comments. Please like or comment to help spread my posts. I have a very very bad cold.

Laurel from Museum of Northwest Art hung some of my artwork by the poetry section this morning at the MoNA Museum Store and sent me a picture! So the top one is an orginal artwork (not a print) which is called Phlox and Carnation Impression, custom-framed in all-archival materials. It was painted from life of dried flowers I had. It is $625, and is also pictured to the right. Then below it is one of the framed prints I showed a couple days ago, it is $265, also custom framed. Then below that is three little framed prints, I think those are $40. Then also in the store are my postcards of my newest work for $3 a piece and another framed print of a sailboat. Thank you, Laurel, for all of the hard work you do to promote my art!

I just brought these two custom-framed giclee prints to Museum of Northwest Art and they are $265 a piece, with lovely gold bamboo frames, extra thick 6 ply mat, and all-archival materials. I also brought in a surprise original painting and a lot more postcards of my very newest work. I included a few pictures showing the beauty of the actual museum building. The exhibit on right now is a sheer joy and so much fun so it's a great and sunny time to visit La Conner! (My page isn't working right so please like and/or comment to make this post more visible! Thanks!)
