During the month of April, 18 classes of pre-school and kindergarteners visited the Garden House in Beacon Hill, most to see their first-ever live performance! Mary Margaret Moore is in the middle of a 2014 tour called Creativity-in-Toe, introducing young children to the art of live performance. Moore is offering performances of her magical show, String, to Head Start and ECEAP classrooms at no charge. The tour is funded by 4Culture, private individuals, Hatchfund, and New Mexico Arts.

String is a dance and object theater show, conceived with children ages 2-8 in-mind, but a delight for all ages! It's movement and objects invite the audience to awaken their imagination and spreads a blank canvas for each person to decipher their own experience in all its subtlety and wild creativity.

String is a 35-minute show, followed by a Q&A with the performer. Seating is limited, so advance ticket purchase, or reservation is recommended.
