There’s still time! Want to preview the art before the West Seattle Art Tour? There are several opportunities to do so! Artwork will be on display during July, August, and September Viscon Cellars
Hours open: Thursday & Friday 5-9 PM Saturday 1-6 PM

Stop in anytime they’re open to check it out, or join us for one of the West Seattle Artwalk nights on August 13th and/or September 10th, when artists will be in residence. Hope to see you there!

We are excited to introduce the WEND Crew! WEND - named as 1 of the top 5 Coolest Jewelry Stores in the US They will be at Stop No. 4 during the West Seattle Art Tour held on September 19th & 20th 2026. The Tour is a free event showcasing a unique array of art created by exceptional West Seattle artists and is a fun way for visitors and locals alike to explore the West Seattle peninsula.

The WEND Crew shares with us - “WEND is a team of West Seattle women who create unique gender-neutral rugged fine jewelry that is sustainably sourced, completely handmade in our West Seattle shop using traditional techniques, and designed to honor your journey.”

Mimi shares with us - “The moment I sat down with a lump of clay to throw my first pot, I knew this was my medium. I loved using the lines of the throwing process to define and emphasize forms. I realized throwing on the wheel connected the clay, my hands and the lines to an organic expression.”

We are excited to introduce Jody Wally! Jody Wally He’ll be at Stop No. 14 during the West Seattle Art Tour held on September 19th & 20th 2026. The Tour is a free event showcasing a unique array of art created by exceptional West Seattle artists and is a fun way for visitors and locals alike to explore the West Seattle peninsula.

Jody shares with us - “My ceramic work is primarily focused on the sense of volume and presence conveyed by the form. I typically create ‘tight’ forms, relying on classic proportions and symmetry for their structure. To ensure each piece feels unique and avoids a commercially-produced look, I often incorporate throwing lines, carved surfaces, or freeform decorative elements.”

Izzie shares with us - “I am in love with millinery - the art of hat making. Many people believe that it is becoming a ‘lost art’. It is true that the tools I use (and many of the materials) are literally from another era, but the art is certainly not lost. In fact, the historical nature is one of things that draws me to millinery.”

We are excited to introduce Jan Koutsky! Jan Koutsky She’ll be at Stop No. 2 during the West Seattle Art Tour held on September 19th & 20th 2026. The Tour is a free event showcasing a unique array of art created by exceptional West Seattle artists and is a fun way for visitors and locals alike to explore the West Seattle peninsula.

Jan shares with us - “I use the emotive quality of color to draw the reminiscence of a landscape. I am interested in creating a sense of space, openness and light. My goal is to communicate the impact of nature, rather than creating a representational drawing. I use light-fast (non-fading) colored pencils on archival museum board and paper. Colored pencils provide the power of color while showing the mark of the artist’s hand.”

Jennifer shares with us - “I create decorative ceramic pieces that explore the balance between strength and fragility. Through sculptural forms, I honor the resilience of clay, and reveal its enduring nature. In contrast, the light-catching surfaces of my work echo the radiant qualities of stained glass, creating a visual interplay that draws the viewer’s attention.“

Say Hi to Irish Shelley! 🌛Shelley Irish🌜 She’ll be at Stop No. 11 during the West Seattle Art Tour held on September 19th & 20th 2026. The Tour is a free event showcasing a unique array of art created by exceptional West Seattle artists and is a fun way for visitors and locals alike to explore the West Seattle peninsula.

Shelley shares with us - “I work in oils, using a combination of master’s and mische techniques. I paint thin and sand the surface in between layers, using glazes to build colorful luminosity.”
