Thank you all for a wonderful Smol Art Mart!!!! We appreciate the community for always showing up for Smol Art Mart. Our hearts are full after such a busy and wholesome event. Each year we grow bigger and bigger and we always worry no one will come but holy yall really showed up. It’s so crazy that we started in a small plant shop with less than 15 artist vendors and now we have thousands of visitors plus a mascot parade??? Everyone is always so sweet and kind! 🥹

SHOUT OUT TO THE VOLUNTEERS. You were all so attentive and kind to the vendors + attendees— Smol Art Mart would not exist without you all. THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES AND FOREVER. We can’t believe some of you come back with us every year, it feels like a big family ❤️❤️❤️

Our team is 100% volunteer and we do not profit from this show. All coordination, illustrations, music, EVERYTHING is donated by the community. All donations from the merch sales, artist portrait drawings, and your support helps us throw this giant free artist party every year. Day 1 captured by our photographer KDO Here are some updates for Sunday visitors:

🍀 The info booth has restocked on stamp papers. You can grab one from us and start anywhere, instead of waiting in line for the info booth one!
🍀 Due to weather, the mascot parade is moved to 4Pm. Photos with mascots are moved to the back of the venue.
🍀 We are running low on temporary tattoos, come to the info booth to get one!
🍀 Portrait polaroids, doodles, and photo strips are very popular; we suggest coming to them first because they sell out quickly. New slots open every hour.
🍀 You can request live music at the front with Mike Choi
🍀 The info booth had a lost and found; check in with us if you are missing something.

Smol Art Mart is almost upon us!

Between the vibrant community of artists, delicious food stalls, and all the interactive stations, there is so much to explore. Whether you are hunting for gifts, getting a custom polaroid portrait, or just grabbing a bite to eat, make sure to stick around for the mascot parade happening right in the middle of the action at 3PM each day!

Smol Art Mart is an annual free art event run by a non-profit of volunteers and artists. We have over 150 artists vending with us this year and food vendors. Our mission is to provide an accessible market for small businesses to showcase their talents, as well as creatives who are not vending to connect with the community. Here are some fun activities we are bringing this year:

✨ Free stamp scavenger hunt! Come to the infobooth to start.
✨ Free coloring stations are available for everyone of all ages! Come sit and take a break to doodle, color, or chat with other artists.
✨ Free temporary tattoos!
✨ Custom polaroid portraits are back by popular demand! Artists can draw you or your pets and print them out on physical polaroids.
✨ Custom photo strips! Sit at our photo booth and artists will doodle you onto physical photo strips!
✨ Live portrait drawings with artists!
✨ Bring your own garments, or purchase our blanks, to get it screen printed. Watch it happen live!
✨ Everyday at 3PM we will be having a mascot parade!

Here is the artist line up for photobooth strips! Details on how to request are below. Please come 10 minutes early to line up for the artist you would like to request (some artists don;t have examples on this post because they will have examples on site). We recommend checking every hour to see if there is availability.

1/ Come to our photo booth in the back of the venue.
2/ Choose an artist; note that each artist has a distinct style
3/ Artists will draw your portrait (up to 2 people or pets max, unless the artist can do more requests). Only takes a few minutes!

Bring your silly little blanks and we will screen print on them live! Make sure the item you bring is LIGHT COLORED because the ink will be BLACK. The item must be at least 11.5 inches wide and high. We are partnering with The Vera Project , a Seattle screen printing studio, to make this happen.

Exclusive illustration at Smol Art Mart designed by 𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙞🐟 featuring our mascot Smoley and other wild Cryptid critters! Donate at least $15 for a screen print (per print). If you don’t have any garments, we will have extra blank t-shirts available for purchase (while supplies last).
