Robert Lang Studios was founded in 1974 in Seattle, Washington, just 15 minutes north of downtown. The studio is in the Richmond Beach area on a beautiful hillside overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. It’s one of the original and most legendary recording studios in the Pacific Northwest. No project is too big or small. We just love what we do and have the perfect staff of engineers a

nd producers to trust your music with. The studio has a long and rich history and has been home to thousands of musicians. We were part of the early Seattle sound recording the Sonics, played a huge role in the Seattle grunge era with Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Foo Fighters, many R&B artists, rap, jazz, new age, dance, metal and the list goes on. Some recent projects include Train, Rug, Macklemore, Hockey Dad Band, Foo Fighters Sonic Highways, Tayala. There are lots of really good eats and coffee shops close by. Blackbird Cafe, The Cabin, our neighborhood tavern with an outdoor deck, Greek Kitchen, Streetzeria pizza and pasta, Pagliacci Pizza, Issaya Thai, Thai Bistro and Salt & Iron to name a few. We take great pride in our own grilling & cooking skills at the studio as well. The beach, library & bowling alley are all within walking distance.
