Pleased to announce three in-depth 3-hour intensives at Retaliation Swing this year, offered by top WCS professionals Benji Schwimmer, Brandi Guild, and Stephen White. Any of our intensives can stand by itself, or take all three to bring the best of choreography and improv to your West Coast Swing! $75 each, or pick up all three for a single discounted price.

Starting to plan for Retaliation Swing 2026? We’re proud this year to be partnering with Chris Low’s apprenticeship program, Passing The Mic! Topher started PTM with the goal of creating opportunities for folks of all dance levels in the West Coast Swing community to try their hands at MCing, DJing, and judging at dance events. The program allows apprentices to get hours of training with their mentors as well as real world experience at full-weekend dance events in their respective roles!

Retaliation Swing 2026 will have two apprentice positions available: one MC apprentice working under our Head MC and creator of Passing The Mic, Topher Low, and one DJ apprentice working under one of our fabulous DJs, “RayRay” Raymond Byun!

Applications for these roles are live now and the cutoff date for the applications is on *Sunday August 2nd* at 11:59pm PST, so make sure you get yours in before the deadline ends!
